Return tanks & Deposit

On this page you will find information about returning the bottle and receiving the paid deposit back. You will receive a deposit back into your account after returning the borrowed tanks! This deposit is added to the amount to be paid when completing your order on the website.

Refund the deposit to your account

Naturally, you will receive the deposit costs paid back into your account as soon as we have received the empty tank in good order! The deposit will be paid automatically within 48 hours upon receipt in our warehouse! You will then receive a confirmation email of the refunded deposit amount to the email address you entered when placing your order.
The payment always goes to the account with which the order was paid. In exceptional cases it may be that there is extra processing time at the iDeal provider or the bank after we have already paid, then it can take 2 to 3 working days. Payments via PayPal are always paid immediately.

How do I return the tank? Read the instructions carefully

Step 1. Make sure the tank all the way empty by turning it open and leaving it completely empty. Once the tank has emptied you can turn off the tap.

Step 2. You then return the tank to us in the original packaging in which you received it – so keep the delivered return box in good condition! We do not accept a different box or packaging than our return box. Have you lost your return box or is it damaged? Mail us first for a new one. Add the packing slip / invoice to the box so that we immediately see which order number is involved so that we can refund the correct deposit amount to you. Keep the return box in good condition, put the tank in it, and also the packing slip. If you no longer have the packing slip, print the order email.

Step 3. Then stick the return box good close, and return the package to the following address:

The shipping costs related to the return of the tank are for the account of the customer and cannot be recovered from Lachgas Voordeel. Always make sure you have a Track & Trace code can show so that there is no ambiguity about the return!

How long can I keep the tank?

Make sure that the tank is back with us as soon as possible after it is empty, because the sooner it is back, the sooner you will have your deposit back. By default, the time you can keep the tank is 30 days (one month). Extension is not possible.

If the empty tank only returns after the 30 days, we can still be of service to you and we will pay the amount of the deposit in the form of a voucher. You can then use this on the entire range, with a new tank or something else of your choice.

How long do I keep the bail right?

There are two situations in which the right to a refund of the deposit lapses completely:

1. In case the bottle not is returned to us within 30 days of the invoice date
2. In case the bottle is damaged and / or defective
3. In the event that the bottle is not returned in our original packaging and completely sealed and damage-free

In the event of one or more of the above situations, the right to a deposit refund will lapse.
